Samsung Gulf Electronics has achieved a significant milestone in nurturing AI talent among youth in the UAE, celebrating the graduation of 49 young innovators from its inaugural Galaxy AI Pioneers program. This pioneering initiative, held in collaboration with the National Program for Coders and Coders HQ, underscores Samsung’s commitment to developing the next generation of AI experts. Over three intensive months, the students, aged 12 to 17, gained foundational knowledge in artificial intelligence, machine learning, Python programming, and AI ethics, equipping them with skills critical to today’s tech landscape.
The ceremony took place at SmartThings Home Dubai, a hub that embodies Samsung’s dedication to fostering a connected, AI-driven ecosystem. Shafi Alam, Samsung Gulf Electronics’ Director and Head of Direct-to-Consumer Business and Corporate Marketing, awarded certificates to each of the students, acknowledging their remarkable progress and commitment. These graduates have demonstrated not only technical proficiency but also the potential to impact the UAE’s digital transformation.
Through their capstone projects, students showcased practical AI applications, tackling real-world challenges and highlighting their readiness to contribute meaningfully to technological advancement. Samsung’s Galaxy AI Pioneers program is part of the company’s broader strategy to inspire, educate, and equip youth with the skills needed for a rapidly evolving digital world.
