One of the best free PS5 PlayStation Plus games is available to download for free for another 24 hours only. By February 6, the free game download window will close for free. The free PS Plus game in question hails from 2022, the year that saw the likes of Elden Ring, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Horizon Forbidden West, Vampire Survivors, Gran Turismo 7, Pentiment, Stray, Immortality, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Bayonetta 3, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Splatoon 3, and Sonic Frontiers have all been released. Tale of the Plague: Requiem, a game that was nominated for that year’s Game of the Year award at the Game Awards, was also released. This game is currently free via PS Plus, but not longer, along with Evil West and Nobody Saves the World, both of which also expire tomorrow.
It was developed by Asobo Studio and published by Focus Entertainment, A Plague Tale: Requiem and was released more specifically on October 18, 2022. When it was released, it was released to number 85 on Metacritic. Within a year, more than a million players played it across PC,PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
For those who don’t know, it’s a sequel to the 2019 film A Plague Tale: Innocence, which at the time was a surprise, a sleeperstroke. And if you want to check out A Plague Tale: Requiem, you’ll want to check out the first game, as its novels are related.
